THE VALUES OF ANT
- Consider life a sacred and inviolable value, always
- Consider EUBIOSIA (the-good-life) a primary goal to be conquered daily
- Euthanasia (the-good-death) can be achieved as a natural conclusion to EUBIOSIA
- Consider every step of illness reversible
- Fight suffering (physical, moral and social), your own suffering and others’, in every possible way and with the same engagement.
- Consider everybody as your brother or sister.
- The Sufferer needs your understanding and your solidarity, not your pity.
- Avoid excesses, always
- Give your help to the Sufferer’s Family as well
- Your help is always important and remember: our lot would be nothing without the little of many!
THE RIGHTS OF THE DYING
- Eubiosia (a dignified life) is a basic right of all human beings, from the time of conception until death.
- The community must in no way and for no reason become the cause or the means by which life is brought to a premature end.
- The dying person and his/her family are entitled to uncensored information, out of respect for the individual’s dignity.
- It is the community’s duty to guarantee free, continuous and specialized treatment for the terminal-ill person.
- The dying person is entitled to choose freely whether to be treated at home or in hospital.
- The dying person is to choose the health staff who will care for him/her, in total compliance with standards of professional dignity and deontological codes, irrespective of the pressures exerted by pen-pushers, lobbies or economic interest groups.
- The community can accept the supplementary help supplied by voluntary staff, but it must ensure the dying to receive a uniform level of assistance, which matches their needs in every respect.
- The community must provide incentives for families who choose home-care assistance programme for their dying.
- The community must ensure the dying the right to continue having a balanced relationship with their environment (from moral, psychological, religious, economic and social standpoints).
- The community must ensure the dying the freedom to decide his/her future in complete harmony with his/her cultural traditions, religious beliefs and conscience.

please let us remain human beings.
ANT PRAYER – HOPE
When You offer us hope, Lord,
please remind us of Your resurrection
When You offer us hope, Lord,
please give us the courage to live
When You offer us hope, Lord,
please let us remind us of the others
When You offer us hope, Lord,
please let us rejoice together
When You offer us hope, Lord,
please let us keep our faith
Our hope can then be glory to the Lord
